Birdhouses

Ah, birdhouses.  There are so many ways to make these.  I have made a lot over the years and always like experimenting with different designs and ideas.

This is just a simple house that I made years ago out of some scrap wood I had laying around.

Sports Themed Houses

Nothing like a good rivalry.

The houses have doors for cleaning them out.

Cubs or Sox. Your choice.

 

Log Cabin style

These are always fun to build.  Gives a little uniqueness and whimsy to them.

Used Lincoln Logs to make this one.  I won 2nd place at the Sandwich Fair in 2025 with this.

A dark-themed bird house.  A customer request and they loved it!

A couple of basic, simple bird houses.  The one on the left has a dowel perch and the one on the right has a small porch.

Another license-plate roofed house, using a Mexican flag plate for the roof.

A friend had an old birdhouse that was ravaged by time and squirrels.

 

It was time to replace it with something new and fresh:

 

 

She loved it and I am sure the birds will too!
