Bee and Butterfly Houses

Specifically, Mason Bee houses.  A customer was buying a bird house and asked if I made bee houses.  I did not even know they existed so he gave me a rough design idea and told me he raised Mason Bees.

I made these for him and he loved them!

They are basically deep, open boxes on the bottom with a 'nesting room' with a hinged door on the top so he can put the Queen in there by hand.

And now for something different, a Butterfly house. They look great in the garden and stand out when painted or decorated brightly.
